Neulich kam bei den Malaika-Kindern der Wunsch auf, ob ich ihnen DEUTSCH beibringen kann. Ich war einverstanden! Nun ging es letzte Woche los: Jeden Morgen um halb 10 versammelten wir uns in meinem „WOHNZIMMER“. Fast alle Gegenstände wurden geübt – „SESSEL“, „FENSTER“, „SCHREIBTISCH“. Es folgte die „KÜCHE“ (das Ü ist eine Herausforderung!), das „SCLAFZIMMER“ und das „KLO“. Die Kids können schon die Zahlen von EINS bis ZWANZIG, und sie machen Mathe mit plus und minus. Vorgestern gab es die ersten Verben. Wenn das Hirn kocht, gibt es ein paar Runden Laufen zur Erholung auf dem Fußballplatz.
Heute kriegte jeder ein Kaugummi, weil sie sich in wechselnden Zweiergruppen als Lehrer oder Lehrerinnen tapfer bewiesen hatten.

Recently, the Malaika children asked if I could teach them GERMAN. I agreed! Now it started last week: Every morning at half past nine we gathered in my “WOHNZIMMER “. Almost all objects were practiced – “SESSEL”,”FENSTER”, “SCHREIBTISCH”. This was followed by the “KÜCHE” (the Ü is a challenge!), the “SCHLAFZIMMER” and the “KLO”. The kids can do the numbers from “EINS” to “ZWANZIG”, and they do maths with plus and minus. The day before yesterday there were the first verbs. When the brain boils, there are a few rounds of running to relax on the soccer field.
Today everyone got chewing gum because they had bravely proven themselves as teachers in changing groups of two.

Hello Malaika friends, its now the second month in quarantine. Fortunately we are learning the German language. It’s hard but also funny and interesting. Mama is a good teacher.
